*Traer pequeño pote de gesso de artista y papel de lija, fino y extra fino

*2 maisonite no menor de 8x11

*1 papel de acuarela de 140 lbs.

*Brocha ancha de 3" barata tipo, hecha en China

* Masking tape y papel engomado de empacar paquetes

*Materiales detalladados en el Taller #5/5a

Bajo tutela de la artista sustituta, Catherine Matos Olivo, MFA preparar los dos soportes, el de acuarela y el maisonite para acrílicos

Realizar un boceto en clase en acuarela CON UN SOLO COLOR de cualquier objeto que escoja

Realizar boceto a TODO COLOR basada en el boceto de acuarela monocromática sobre el maisonite

Continuar trabajo en casa y en salón.

Una vez completados los dos bocetos, hacer la pintura en canvas no menor
de 16 x 20. Trabajar en casa y salón.

Traer las 3 pinturas para la crítica en el salón de clase en OCTUBRE 10.

Viernes 19 sept

Escoger 3 objetos que lo defina como persona.

1. dibuje cada objeto sobre papel negro
2. recórtelo y píquelo en cinco pedzos irregulares
3. Sobre un papel blanco, péguelos de manera que se ilustre
el concepto de fondo y figura, balance, ritmo y composicion (óvalo, pirámide, S)
4. Arregle cada composición para que denote una de las siguientes emociones:
Depresión
Exitación
aplomo
confusion
dinamismo
caida
alegria

2008 Jean-Claude Reynal Scholarship

A 10,000 euros grant awarded
to a young artist for studies abroad

The Jean-Claude Reynal Foundation, under the auspices of the Foundation of France, in collaboration with the Fine Arts School of Bordeaux, offers an annual grant of 10,000 euros to enable a young artist, who works directly on paper, to travel to a country of his/her choice for a period of six months maximum.


Conditions

Candidates must be between 20 and 30 years of age and have had an artistic practice on paper for at least two years. All artists are eligible regardless of educational background or nationality.

50% of the scholarship money will be paid before departure and 50% at the time and place of residency.

The prize winner authorizes the Reynal Foundation to use a work of his/her choice on the media announcing the following year's scholarship competition. The chosen work will be approved by the executive committee.
